When I will be representing Fine Artist Steve Alpert with Artblend Gallery at Hamptons Fine Art Fair in Southampton, New York. Alpert will be on hand with me in the Artblend Gallery Booth #239 to talk about his work and share his journey into Abstract Expressionism. He will have four of his abstract paintings on exhibition at the fair and available for purchase. SPLASH!, Crossroads, Buzz and Melting Pot.
ABOUT STEVE ALPERT
Steve Alpert is a Fine Art Painter whose work covers a wide range of subject matter, including land/sea/skyscapes, military, portraiture and most recently, abstract. Alpert describes himself as a non-conformist who draws on many different moments in his life that have inspired and shaped his work. Painting is my reverie, my serenity, my never-ending pursuit of who I am.
Alpert’s work has been exhibited in galleries and International Art Fairs throughout the United States and Canada. It is in many esteemed private and public collections, including: The Pentagon, Naval War College Museum, Museum of the United States Marines, Air, Mobility Command Museum. Alpert’s work has raised more than $500,000 for organizations that assist veterans and their families. He was honored to receive the Congressional Medal of Honor Society’s Distinguished Citizen award. And in 2015, Alpert’s Portrait of a Woman was on exhibit at the mansion of the Vice-President of U.S. at the Naval Observatory in Washington D.C.
Alpert has authored two books, Worth Fighting For, The Path of a Patriot and Proudly She Served, Celebrating Women in Uniform. He is also an adjunct professor of art to veterans at Fordham University.
Steve Alpert has art studios in Manhattan and Quogue, New York.
