Steve Alpert is the Featured Solo Artist in “Between Us” at The Gallery at Quogue Library

Fine Artist, Steve Alpert, is the featured solo artist in an upcoming Art Exhibition entitled Between Us in the Art Gallery at the Quogue Library on 90 Quogue Street, Quogue, New York 11959. The exhibition will showcase a beautiful blend of Alpert’s best work ever in landscape and abstract paintings, twelve pieces in all.

The title, Between Us, takes its name from the signature painting featured in the featured post. To the artist the theme signifies ‘a notion of intimacy between art and viewer.  It is just between us.’

The Show will be on display from September 7th through October 9th 2024. There will be an Artist Reception that is free and open to the public, on Saturday, September 7th from 4-6pm. A percentage of the sales from this show will be donated to the Quogue Library.

About Steve Alpert

Steve Alpert is a Fine Artist who has worked in landscape, portraiture, abstract and creating paintings that honor the men and women who serve in the US Armed Forces. His work is a part of the following collections: The Pentagon, Naval War College Museum, Museum of the United States Marines, Air, Mobility Command Museum. Alpert’s work has raised more than $500,000 for organizations that assist veterans and their families. His work has been shown in galleries and art fairs throughout the US. He was honored to receive the Congressional Medal of Honor Society’s Distinguished Citizen Award.

The Quogue Library was chartered by the State of New York in 1897.

Governed by the Library Board of Trustees and managed by the Library staff, the Library aims to meet the educational, informational, cultural and recreational needs of the residents of the Quogue School District and residents of East Quogue who select the Quogue Library as their home library.

The Library strives to offer welcoming, supportive and inclusive service to all. The staff cares for Quogue’s public library collection and access to borrowable materials and downloadable resources, all of which is funded through tax-payer support.
