TOWLES COURT ART CENTER
Situated slightly off the beaten path in Downtown Sarasota, Towles Court Art Center is a hidden gem housed in a charming historic home dating back to the 1920s. The center is home to the studios of nine working artists and two interior designers. Visitors are welcome to stroll from one studio to another, enjoying the artful displays throughout the space, often witnessing the artists in action or engaging directly with them. The center spans the two stories of the house.
From October through May, the Center keeps its doors open from 4pm through 8pm on the third Friday of each month for Open Studios Nights, during which time visitors may enjoy live music and refreshments while perusing the art-filled studio spaces. The Center’s wraparound porch is often host to other events such as yoga classes, bake sales or antique sales. These events create a community-minded destination for creatives and collectors alike.
